Ambrose Msiza

Managing Director - 25.5%

Ambrose is the Managing director of YTC, and is a mechanical engineer by profession.  Ambrose holds a Government Certificate of Competency (Mines) for Mechanical Engineers.  He has 17 years’ experience in engineering including management, maintenance, design and projects.  Whilst working for CBI Constructors Ambrose was assigned as a Project Engineer during the construction of Mossgas in 1990, the expansion of Engen in 1992, and the expansion of SAPREF in 1992.  Ambrose also worked for Richards Bay Minerals as a Plant Engineer responsible for plant maintenance and later as Engineering Manager until joining YTC as a Shareholder and Managing Director.

 

Dumisani Dlamini

Shareholder – 25.5%

Dumisani is a shareholder of YTC.  With considerable experience in the marketing field, Dumisani brings strategic, operational and marketing experience to the company.  He currently holds the position of Marketing Executive for Zululand Medical Aid, is a shareholder and director of Oxygen for Life as well as a former Senior Vice President of Nafcoc – KZN and Chairman of the newly established BEE diversified holding company Injobo Business Consortium Ltd.

 

Tony Marreiros

Operations Director – 24.5%

Tony, founding member of Tony Marreiros Construction cc has more than 25 years’ experience in the construction business.  A trade tested pipe fitter and boilermaker, Tony worked for various construction companies for 15 years as a project manager responsible for various multi-million rand projects.  In 1995, he established Tony Marreiros Construction cc where he was responsible for the creation of more than 125 additional jobs and the successful growth of the business from its humble beginnings with 25 employees – to one of the region’s largest and most reputable firms in its field.

 

Kersten Venter

Contracts Director – 24.5%

Kersten, a qualified rigger, has been with the company since 1997.  With more than 30 years of experience in his field, Kersten is widely recognized throughout Kwa-Zulu as a Master Rigger.  Taking his trade to an art form, Kersten’s expertise is in frequent demand when the most intricate rigging services are essential to the job.  Besides being a rigging expert, Kersten has extensive experience in Project Management.  He worked as Project Manager for Dorbyl where he managed various projects ranging from R 500 000 to R 84 million.  Kersten later joined Group 5 as a Project Manager where he managed various projects at Richards Bay Minerals and Anglo Platinum.  With this career experience spanning 22 years, Kersten joined Tony as a partner and together they grew the company from a small enterprise to a medium size company employing more than 125 people.
